For months now the offroad scene has eagerly awaited the premiere of the AGM-Jimco X6 SCORE Trophy Truck. Now it’s all go: In late September the new desert monster will be presented in Germany, with which rally ace Armin Schwarz and the All German Motorsports team tackle the US SCORE Championship. For August, All German Motorsports plan comparison tests with the new vehicle, which stands out from other Trophy Trucks through its low weight and substantially better aerodynamics. In September, the AGM-Jimco X6 SCORE Trophy Truck will celebrate its public launch in Germany. As part of the presentation, new partners will be announced. “Our first race with the AGM-Jimco Trophy Truck will be in November at the BAJA 1000,” says Schwarz. Read the rest of this entry »

Class Results 2009 Tecate SCORE Baja 1000 as published by SCORE Intl.. Closing the books on the 36th year of the World’s Foremost Desert Racing Series and capping a triumphant return to desert racing on a full-time basis for the first time since 1996, NASCAR Cup team owner/driver Robby Gordon has earned the SCORE Overall and SCORE Trophy-Truck point championship for the five-race 2009 SCORE Desert Series. Today is the Championship Awards Banquet at the Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas in The Artist Room. Don’t forget: Proper dress code required: no jeans, no t-shirts, no sneakers or hats – no awards!! Attendees not meeting these guidelines will be turned away at the door…. And as we all know this year – SCORE Intl. will enforce the rules! Below you find the class results with penalties as dished out for not sticking with the rules during the Baja 1000 race.
